EDTECH WEEK 2026 Brings the Education Market to Columbia

Education technology is entering a more demanding phase.

AI tools are moving into classrooms and institutions, but adoption now depends on evidence, governance, teacher workflow, procurement, and whether a product improves outcomes rather than simply adding another layer of software.

EDTECH WEEK 2026 brings that market to Columbia University in New York from October 13 through 15.

A Full Education Ecosystem

The event is designed for founders, educators, researchers, investors, operators, and policymakers. Programming spans the StartEd CEO Summit, higher education and workforce learning, startup showcases, AI for educators, and conversations about the systems surrounding education innovation.

The invitation-only CEO Summit runs October 13 and 14. Core EDTECH WEEK programming runs October 14 and 15 at Teachers College, with additional activity at the Bollinger Forum.

Why the Timing Matters

The education market is being pushed to make practical decisions about AI. Leaders have to weigh access, student safety, teacher capacity, institutional data, workforce preparation, and the gap between a compelling demo and a tool that can survive inside a real school system.

EDTECH WEEK creates a place for the people building products to meet the people implementing, funding, evaluating, and governing them.
