Rotoris Raises ₹70Cr Series A for Luxury Watch Expansion

Rotoris gives its New Delhi customers an address and an appointment before asking its physical expansion to travel further. The Indian watch company's open House in Greater Kailash sits alongside an invitation-based online buying process, bringing a tangible encounter with the product into a business built around controlled access.

The Gurugram company has raised a ₹70Cr Series A led by Blume Ventures, whose October 27 investment announcement confirms the amount and round. The financing supports research and development, more production and a wider Rotoris House footprint. For co-founders Aakash Anand and Prerna Gupta, expanding that footprint means carrying the watch's design, assembly and ownership experience into more rooms where prospective buyers can examine it.

That combination puts an operating question inside the financing: how does a young watch house serve more people while continuing to make its releases feel deliberate? Rotoris has chosen to build access, physical experience and product together, giving the capital several jobs beyond paying for attention.

What Rotoris's Series A will finance

The issuer's announcement, distributed by VMPL, names 9Unicorns, Centricity, family offices associated with Diwakar Goel, Atul Singh and Adhiraj Burman, and actor-investor Rannvijay Singha among the participants. Those personal and family-office relationships matter on their own terms. The announcement does not make the individuals' employers corporate investors in Rotoris.

The ₹70Cr amount, equivalent to INR700M, is the figure confirmed by lead investor Blume. Dollar equivalents vary across coverage, so the financing is retained here in its announced currency. The round follows an earlier $3M seed that Prerna Gupta described publicly, without producing a new cumulative dollar total from differently denominated amounts.

Research, production and stores make a connected set of spending priorities for a watch company. Product development affects what the next collection can offer, production affects how many pieces can reach owners, and a physical location gives buyers a place to assess them. How management divides the money among those tasks will shape the pace and character of expansion.

Neither a valuation nor detailed financial performance is established in the reviewed announcements. Readers can see the stated assignment for the capital, while the commercial results of that assignment will develop through the watches Rotoris makes and the owners it serves.

How the Registry changes the buying conversation

Rotoris's Registry begins with an access request and a personal profile. Approval opens the route to exploring and owning a timepiece, making the customer relationship start before the purchase. That sequence asks somebody to express an interest in the house, as well as a particular model.

The company reports that its first release of 2,100 numbered watches sold within days of its February 2026 launch. It also reports nearly 100,000 registrations for access. These are issuer-reported figures, and registrations describe interest rather than a count of paying customers or outstanding orders. A larger list therefore brings management information about an audience without supplying a published conversion rate.

For a consumer operator, this creates an unusually visible connection between allocation and production. Deciding how many watches to release also determines how many interested people can become owners during that chapter. Increasing output can shorten some customers' wait; the choice of models, materials and release sizes still defines what becomes available.

The House extends that conversation into a physical setting. Rotoris's official experience-centre page lists its New Delhi location as open by appointment. A visitor can spend time with the collection there, giving the company another way to explain a purchase whose appeal includes how the watch looks and feels in person.

The people and product behind the expansion

Aakash Anand and Prerna Gupta bring different parts of consumer-brand building to Rotoris. Blume describes Aakash Anand's experience scaling Bella Vita through an exit; Prerna Gupta's own public profile identifies her work leading brand and creative. Anant Narula and Kunal Kapania are also identified in the founding team, corroborated by Kunal Kapania's public account of building the company and the investor announcement he shared.

The product range gives those brand decisions a physical form. Rotoris's Manifesta collection lists natural-stone and mother-of-pearl dial variants, including jade, pietersite and lapis lazuli. Its Astonia range includes 42mm chronograph models. These are specific design choices a prospective owner can compare, rather than a promise resting entirely on the company's ambitions.

Rotoris describes watches using Swiss and Japanese movements with assembly and testing in India. That geography deserves precise language: Indian assembly does not mean every movement is manufactured domestically, and movement sourcing alone does not establish that an entire watch is Swiss-made. The company is combining capabilities across locations in the product it offers.

More control over assembly gives the expansion a practical centre of gravity. As additional releases and locations become part of the business, the people setting product standards will have to carry those decisions into a larger operating footprint, keeping the physical object connected to the story told around it.

Taking an Indian watch house to more buyers

Rotoris's international ambitions extend the work already visible in its invitation process and New Delhi House. New York is among the markets named in the expansion plans, while the reviewed sources do not establish a completed opening there. Planned locations describe where the company wants to meet customers, rather than an already operating network.

A physical expansion also changes what the team has to reproduce. The website can present a consistent collection across markets; a House brings appointments, people and the encounter with the watch into each location. For a young company, that makes retail an operating commitment as well as a way of becoming known.

The Series A therefore connects the venture-capital decision to a very particular consumer proposition. Rotoris is asking buyers to make room for an Indian name in a considered watch purchase, then giving them a process and a place through which to get comfortable with it. The financing supports more of the product and more opportunities to have that conversation.

As Rotoris develops new pieces and expands its presence, the appointment in Delhi offers a useful view of the work ahead. Somebody still has to put a watch in front of a prospective owner, explain its materials and movement, and leave enough room for that person to decide which piece belongs on their wrist.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Rotoris sell watches through its Registry?

Rotoris asks prospective buyers to request access and complete a profile. An invitation then opens access to the collection, making allocation part of the buying process.

What does the Series A fund beyond a larger watch inventory?

Rotoris says the financing supports research and development, production expansion and its Rotoris House footprint. The plan connects new product work with the physical experience through which buyers encounter the watches.

What do Rotoris’s registration figures establish?

Rotoris reports nearly 100,000 access registrations and says its first 2,100 numbered watches sold within days of the February 2026 launch. Registrations measure interest; the company has not established a public conversion rate or a matching number of paying customers.

Are Rotoris movements made in India?

Rotoris describes Swiss and Japanese movements paired with assembly and testing in India. Local assembly should be distinguished from manufacturing every movement domestically.

Which Rotoris House locations are confirmed open?

Rotoris’s official site lists its New Delhi House as open by appointment. New York is named in expansion plans, but the sources reviewed do not establish an opening there.
