January 6, 2026 did not arrive quietly. GS Microelectronics U.S., Inc. closed a $35M Series B led by Maverick Silicon, and this is not a celebration post. It is a signal flare. A company founded in 2021, already operating in the $10M to $25M revenue band, raising a Series B less than a year after an $18M Series A, immediately following two major acquisitions, is not chasing momentum. It is manufacturing it, wafer by wafer.

Farhat Jahangir did not discover semiconductors on a whiteboard. 25+ years inside the machine will do that. Silicon Image, SiTime Corporation, Synerchip, Quantenna Communications through IPO and a $1.1B exit, then running ON Semiconductor’s East Fishkill 300mm fab. GS Microelectronics U.S., Inc. looks the way it does because its founder already lived the failures, bottlenecks, and late night yield reviews everyone else talks about in hindsight.

The strategy is precise. Become the connective tissue of the TSMC value chain. Design enablement, advanced node execution, manufacturing operations, supply chain intelligence, and now AI-driven decision making. Not a slide. A system. The Sinble Technology acquisition in July 2025 added 150+ advanced node engineers across Taiwan and Vietnam. The Muse Semiconductor acquisition in Oct 2025 added MPW access and a real prototype to production bridge. Together, they closed gaps most companies pretend do not exist.

Maverick Silicon stepping in here matters. This is capital that understands semiconductors punish impatience. Manish Muthal backing this round says the model scales. Pair that with early conviction from ITHCA Group, with Ameer S. Al-Alawi on the board, and you get Silicon Valley execution fused with sovereign time horizons.

The board tells the same story. David D. Lee brings the standards DNA that made HDMI unavoidable. Brad Paulsen scaled TSMC customer relationships from millions to billions. Simon Duxbury understands connectivity from silicon to system. Dr. Ahmed Khalfan Al-Rawahi brings national scale perspective. This is governance built for pressure, not applause.

The Series B capital is focused. 2.5D and 3D packaging. CoWoS class architectures. An AI Digital Brain platform with IMDS for yield, risk, and manufacturing intelligence. Full integration of Sinble and Muse into a single execution engine. This is how a services company quietly becomes infrastructure.

GS Microelectronics U.S., Inc. is building gravity. If you design GPUs, CPUs, AI accelerators, automotive silicon, or anything that lives or dies at advanced nodes, this is the kind of partner that shortens distance between ambition and reality. The ecosystem is already reacting, whether it has named it yet or not.
