Personal AI Moves the Intelligence Question Onto the Network Edge
Intelligence feels personal at the interface. The infrastructure carrying it is anything but. Models, networks, devices, permissions, and failure conditions sit underneath the moment a system appears to know enough about one person to become useful.
Personal AI is convening a Friday program on what happens when more of that intelligence moves toward the network edge. CTO Sharon Zhang will open with distributed architecture and examples of personal intelligence in operation. CEO Suman Kanuganti will then moderate a panel with Kanika Atri of NVIDIA, Masum Mir of Cisco, Ramesh Prabagaran of AT&T, and Haseeb Budhani of Rafay.
The company mix places compute, telecommunications, mobility, networking, and orchestration inside the same conversation. Power is only one requirement. Personal systems also have to remain available, respect the boundaries around individual data, and earn trust when parts of the stack belong to different institutions carrying different incentives and responsibilities.
The network edge can shorten the distance between intelligence and the person using it. It also moves the hardest questions about control, resilience, and trust closer to the moment when the system begins acting as though it knows who that person is.
