Offe Market Raises $3M Seed for Off-Price Commerce

Rachel Gannon has described talking brands through the decision to offer a deeper discount so their excess stock will actually sell. At Offe Market, that conversation sits close to the product: a marketplace where a label's unsold merchandise can reach a shopper who still cares how the label looks.

The Los Angeles company announced a $3M Seed round on October 28, 2026, led by Slauson & Co., with InvestTN and Baukunst participating. Offe Market says the financing brings its total funding to $4.3M and will support AI-powered pricing, personalized discovery and live commerce. Its opportunity sits in the relationship between recovering value from excess inventory and introducing brands to customers through an experience worth returning to.

For a shopper, the proposition is recognizable: appealing fashion, beauty and lifestyle products below their original retail prices. For the supplier, choosing a discount channel also means deciding how much control to retain over presentation, pricing and the information coming back from the sale. That second assignment helps explain why a business built around unsold goods is putting new capital into commerce technology.

The brand still has a customer to meet

Offe Market's storefront groups products around brands, categories and discovery. Apparel sits beside accessories, home products and beauty, while original and discounted prices give the shopper an immediate comparison. The assortment can make a markdown feel like finding something useful in a shop selected for a particular taste, rather than searching through somebody else's inventory problem.

That experience has a supplier behind it. A label may want cash and storage space from its remaining stock while continuing to sell other products at full price. A clearance transaction therefore reaches into merchandising judgment: where the item appears, which products surround it, and whether the customer understands why it belongs there. Discounting changes the price; the setting can change the introduction.

Gannon's earlier interview with Modern Retail, published May 1, 2025, described working with brands that had small quantities to move and needed help choosing a price. The reporting also documented brand-fulfilled listings and a Tennessee warehouse route for consignment. Those were descriptions of the business at that time, rather than a promise about the terms every current supplier receives. They show why the selling relationship can require more flexibility than a single bulk purchase of surplus stock.

What the seed round is financing

The new round brings Slauson & Co. into the lead position alongside InvestTN and returning investor Baukunst. The announcement also names commerce angels Jill Fisher Bowen, Stephanie Kleinjan and Ruffin Mitchener. Baukunst's own portfolio identifies Offe Market as a pre-seed investment and describes the company as taking off-price retail to a digitally native audience.

Offe Market describes inventory-system connections that synchronize product information, prices and availability, along with fulfillment routing and sell-through information for brands. The investment priorities extend that operating layer toward pricing and personalized discovery. An assortment built from excess merchandise gives that work a particular constraint: a recommendation has to be useful while the product remains available, in the right variant, at a price that works for both parties.

Live commerce adds a different kind of work to the same transaction. A person can explain the item, show it and help a shopper decide in the moment, while the underlying inventory and ordering systems still need to support the sale. The company says its Echo Park store also serves as a gathering space and content studio. That gives the physical location a role in the online discovery effort, with the shop floor becoming a place where product explanations can begin.

Retail judgment travels into software

Gannon is Offe Market's founder and CEO, with a buying and merchandising background spanning Rue La La, Macy's and ban.do. In a direct public account of a conversation with a former Macy's colleague, she described moving from inventory planning toward customer acquisition, lifetime value and the relationship between physical retail and online growth. Her point was that the older retail disciplines still belong in the discussion.

That combination matters to the investment. A price can produce an order while leaving too little money behind; a compelling assortment can be expensive to introduce to each new shopper. Personalization and pricing tools have to be evaluated inside those relationships. Their commercial value depends on the goods, the people buying them and the cost of creating another useful visit.

Offe Market reports 2.5x year-over-year growth across revenue, shopper count and order volume. The company has not supplied absolute baselines or margin and retention figures in the announcement, so those growth measures leave the economics of repeat shopping open. The new financing gives Gannon more resources to develop the connection between a changing assortment and the people most likely to want it. As a brand sends its next batch of excess stock into Offe's channel, the pricing conversation will continue through the listing, the sale and the information that returns to the brand afterward.
