Letter AI Raises $40M in Series B Funding Led by Battery Ventures

There is a moment in every sales call where the rep pauses. Not because they forgot the pitch. Because they are guessing. Guessing what the buyer cares about. Guessing which slide matters. Guessing which landmine is buried in procurement. Multiply that by 1,000 reps across 30+ countries and you do not have a revenue engine. You have a very expensive improv class. Letter AI just raised $40M in Series B funding to quiet the guessing.

Battery Ventures led the round, with Y Combinator, Lightbank, Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures, and Stage 2 Capital back in the mix. 4 months after a $10.6M Series A led by Stage 2 Capital. Before that, $2.7M in early funding and nearly $1M in revenue in 10 months. When capital follows that quickly, it is not luck. It is signal.

Ali Akhtar, Founder and CEO, and Armen Forget, Co-founder and CTO, built Letter AI in 2023 with a simple conviction. Revenue enablement should not be a dusty content library and a quarterly training video everyone watches on 1.5x speed. It should be alive. Contextual. Deal aware.

Letter AI is an AI native revenue enablement platform that unifies content creation, interactive training, coaching, and buyer engagement. The platform grounds generative AI in a company’s own documents and vetted sources, so the answers are not generic. They are yours. Letter AI Agent acts as a conversational co-pilot over institutional knowledge. Deal Pursuit brings AI into the sales room with RFP automation and buyer engagement workflows. Letter Compass delivers personalized, deal level guidance that tells a rep what matters before the call, during the call, and after the call.

15x customer growth leading into Series A. Revenue teams in more than 30 countries. Enterprise names like Lenovo, Adobe, Novo Nordisk, Plaid, Zip, SolarWinds, RingCentral. SOC 2 Type II compliance. SSO. MFA. Data not used to train shared models. This is not a science experiment. This is production grade.

Brandon Gleklen of Battery Ventures joins the board. Mark Roberge of Stage 2 Capital is already there. When operators who scaled HubSpot and investors who have seen every flavor of SaaS lean in, they are betting on leverage. Not more reps. Smarter reps.

Here is the business lesson hiding in plain sight. AI that floats above the workflow is cute. AI that sits inside the deal is lethal. Letter AI does not just generate content. It generates conviction. And conviction closes.
