Journify Raises $12M Series A for Ad Signal Infrastructure

A retailer can know exactly what a customer bought and still leave its advertising software with an incomplete account of the purchase. Journify has built its business in that gap, connecting customer activity to the platforms that decide where the next advertising dollar goes.

The San Francisco company announced a $12M Series A on November 3, 2026, led by Al Mada Ventures and co-led by returning investor Silicon Badia. Shorooq and Bunat Ventures increased their investments, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined. Journify says the financing will support expansion into the US and Europe and develop the AI behind its platform.

That expansion carries a practical assignment for CEO Taoufik El Jamali, CTO Amine Chouki and CRO Omar Al Shoubaki, the company's three co-founders. Performance marketers need a reliable connection between what their customers do and what an advertising system can learn from it. Journify is asking those teams to put more of the continuing work around that connection in its hands.

What Journify's funding is supporting

Journify's current platform connects websites, mobile apps, customer relationship management systems and offline data with advertising destinations. The software sends events server-side through Conversion APIs, giving a marketer a route from the business's own records into systems such as Meta, TikTok, Snap, Google and Amazon. The useful unit of work is a conversion event that a destination can actually use.

A team taking that route has several jobs to manage. The event must describe the right activity, carry usable identifiers and arrive in the expected format. Repeated records need attention too: counting the same purchase twice can give a team another inaccurate account of its business. Journify describes validation, deduplication, enrichment and monitoring as parts of its service around that transmission.

Those responsibilities help explain the relationship the company wants to sell. An initial connection gets data moving; continuing checks keep the buyer close to what is being sent and where it is going. For a performance marketer, the attraction is having fewer separate integrations to look after while retaining visibility into the events feeding advertising decisions.

The financing takes that operating proposition into more markets. Journify reports more than 100 business customers, and identifies Dubai and Riyadh offices alongside its San Francisco headquarters. The announced US and European expansion is a plan for the next phase, with the product's existing Gulf experience providing a starting point for new customer conversations.

The founders cover the pipeline and the sale

The official leadership page gives the technical work a specific owner. It credits Amine Chouki with designing the event pipeline serving customers in production and lists experience at InVision, Docker and Wingocard. Taoufik El Jamali's background includes InVision, Shopkick and Smartsheet, while Omar Al Shoubaki brings the revenue role and experience selling to performance marketers.

The combination matters because data infrastructure reaches the buyer through several conversations. Engineering has to make the connection work, product has to make its condition understandable, and the commercial team has to explain why a marketer should pay somebody else to operate it. The three founding roles place those responsibilities inside the same business, where a difficult customer deployment can influence both technical priorities and the next sale.

Silicon Badia has already seen an earlier stage of that work. Journify's prior $4M funding announcement names the firm as lead investor, with RZM participating. A separate strategic investment announcement identifies Shorooq, Bunat Ventures and Plug and Play. The strategic investment's amount was undisclosed, leaving an incomplete basis for calculating a precise lifetime funding total.

The returning investors therefore enter the Series A with an existing relationship to the company. Their participation provides continuity as Journify broadens its geographic assignment. It also puts the commercial work of introducing the service to new buyers alongside the engineering work that made the original connections possible.

Native advertising tools shape the buying decision

Advertising platforms already offer ways to improve the customer information they receive. Google's enhanced conversions documentation describes supplementing measurement with hashed first-party customer data, including information collected when somebody converts. Google uses that information to help match customers to accounts that interacted with an advertisement.

For a buyer, this creates a useful comparison with Journify. A marketing team can evaluate the native tools available inside each destination and the work needed to keep them connected to its own systems. A cross-platform service earns its place when the coordination, validation and maintenance it takes on are valuable enough to purchase together. That is a procurement question a broad claim about better AI cannot answer by itself.

The privacy responsibilities stay with the actual flow of information. Journify's privacy policy describes processing client end-user data in transit and transmitting it to destinations selected by the client. The policy also distinguishes its controller and processor roles. Buyers still need to examine their own sources, permissions and destinations as they decide how the service fits their operation.

The same records enter a marketer's conversation

Journify has also been extending what a customer can do with connected data. Its AI Insights announcement, published July 22, 2026, describes asking marketing-performance questions through the web app or WhatsApp. The feature draws on the company's unified Insights layer to answer questions about spending, campaign results and account configuration.

That puts the data in two places where decisions happen: the advertising systems receiving conversion events and the people comparing performance across channels. The conversational interface gives those people another route into the records they already rely on. Its usefulness continues to depend on which sources a customer connects and what those sources can tell the team.

As Journify expands, the founders will be bringing that connected proposition to buyers with their own stores, CRMs and operating habits. Each new deployment adds a particular version of the same customer request: carry the business's actual outcomes into the systems allocating its budget, then help the team understand the information arriving there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does conversion-signal quality matter to a performance marketer?

Advertising systems use the customer outcomes they receive to support measurement and optimization. Journify connects business records to those destinations and checks event quality along the way, so a team can examine more of that feedback process.

How does Journify fit alongside native advertising-platform tools?

Google and other advertising destinations offer their own measurement capabilities. Journify provides a service across multiple sources and destinations, including validation and monitoring, giving buyers a choice about how much integration work to operate themselves.

What will the Series A support?

Journify says the $12M Series A will support US and European expansion and additional AI development. Those are stated plans; the announcement does not establish future commercial results in either market.

How does AI Insights relate to Journify’s signal infrastructure?

AI Insights lets a marketer ask performance questions through the web app or WhatsApp using Journify’s unified Insights data. It brings connected performance records into a conversational interface for the team reviewing campaign decisions.

Can Journify’s lifetime funding be calculated from the disclosed rounds?

The company has disclosed an earlier $4M financing and the current $12M Series A. A separate strategic investment has no disclosed amount, so those figures do not establish an exact all-time funding total.
