AI Frontier Summit Connects Agents, Physical Systems, and the Chips Carrying Both
An AI agent can appear weightless at the interface while depending on an increasingly physical chain underneath it. Chips, memory, photonics, interconnects, power, security, and capital all have to arrive before intelligence can operate at scale.
AI Pioneer Club and the UC Santa Cruz GenAI Center are convening a six-hour summit in Mountain View across autonomous agents, physical AI, robotics, embodied intelligence, chips, infrastructure, and the AI supply chain. The draft program includes panels on future computing, robotics, agentic production systems, startup demonstrations, fundraising and acquisition, and curated networking.
UC Santa Cruz Chancellor Cynthia Larive is scheduled to join the opening. Jun Li of Silicon Valley AI Pioneer Club and Yi Zhang of the UC Santa Cruz GenAI Center are listed as general chairs, while John Hu is identified as a moderator for the computing and infrastructure panel. The organizer labels the program as a draft, so the official page remains the source for the final sequence and lineup.
The summit spans the stack because the constraints are already connected. The next agent, robot, or embodied system will inherit the limits of the hardware, infrastructure, security model, and supply chain long before the user experiences any of them as a product decision.
