Building Pricing Power in the Age of AI is scheduled for November 10 in Manhattan. H/L Ventures is convening a small group of founders and senior leaders around a question that has become sharper as AI makes more features easier to reproduce: what does a company’s differentiation actually mean to the customer, and how does that value become a durable pricing system?
The session is led by Ed Lee, a pricing strategist, author, and H/L Ventures Expert-in-Residence. The organizer describes a practical discussion of differentiation, customer value, positioning, packaging, and price, followed by an interactive exercise and founder Q&A.
AI can compress the time it takes to create a product surface. It cannot automatically create a reason for a customer to pay, renew, or build a process around that product. The next operating work often sits in the unglamorous middle: deciding what is actually distinctive, testing willingness to pay, and translating a technical capability into a proposition that sales, product, finance, and the customer can all recognize.
That makes this a useful room for founders who are working through a value metric, a packaging change, discount pressure, or an AI-related shift in how their product is understood. A pricing strategy is not simply a number on a page. It is one of the clearest places where a company’s market story meets its operating reality.
H/L Ventures lists support from Stifel Banking, HubSpot for Startups, and AlleyCorp. Attendance is limited to 40 guests and requires a request for a spot. The official registration page is the source of truth for approval, venue, and access.
