Selector Secures $32M Funding, Achieves $375M Valuation in AI-driven Observability Sector

Selector just raised $32M and doubled its valuation to $375M. That is not a vanity headline. That is a signal flare in a market drowning in dashboards and still starving for answers. Santa Clara stays busy. But this one hums a little different.

Selector, founded by Juniper Networks veterans Kannan Kothandaraman and Nitin Kumar, is building AI powered observability that does not just watch the network burn. It tells you why it is smoking in the first place. Causal AI. Large language models. Knowledge graphs. The kind of stack that does not blink when the infrastructure does.

Congratulations to Kannan Kothandaraman, Co Founder and CEO, and Nitin Kumar, Co Founder and CTO. Also a nod to Surya Nimmagadda, Chief Data Scientist, the architect in the engine room turning math into muscle. 8 U.S. patents granted in January across causal inference, LLM training, AI powered correlation, predictive maintenance, and network path intelligence. When your IP portfolio reads like a PhD syllabus, you are not guessing. You are engineering inevitability.

AVP led the round, with Ansa Capital, Two Bear Capital, Sinewave Ventures, and Singtel Innov8 stepping in. Serious capital for a serious category. Observability has been noisy for years. Everyone claims visibility. Few deliver clarity. Selector is betting that correlation without causation is just expensive confusion.

And the market is responding. Nearly four times ARR growth. Adoption across Fortune 20 and Fortune 1000 enterprises. That is not startup theater. That is operators with real budgets choosing fewer false positives and faster root cause over another pretty dashboard.

Here is the part founders should study. This raise did not come off a slide deck fantasy. It followed product depth and patent defensibility. It followed traction in complex environments where downtime is not an inconvenience, it is a headline. Build something that works in the hardest rooms, and capital has a way of finding the door.

The fresh capital fuels AI innovation, product development, global go to market expansion, and customer success. Translation: sharpen the brain, widen the reach, and make sure customers win loud enough for the market to hear it.

Selector is not selling monitoring. It is selling memory and reasoning for machines that never sleep. In a world where digital infrastructure is the bloodstream of every enterprise, eliminating downtime is not a feature. It is survival.

Big congrats to the entire Selector team and the investors backing them. When networks get smarter, everyone downstream moves faster. The real question is not whether AI will run operations. It is who you trust to teach it how to think.
