Pitch Roast Live Returns to Caveat for Its December Dune Edition
Pitch Roast Live Dune is scheduled for 2026-12-16 at 6:30-8:30 PM ET. Pitch Roast Live closes the year at Caveat with a Dune-themed December edition built around founders, comedians, investors, and the pressure of explaining a company live.
The theme can be theatrical. The test remains practical. Can the founder hold the room, carry the joke, and still leave everyone understanding why the company needs to exist?
The organizer has not yet published a named speaker roster, so DevCuration is leaving that field open rather than turning an expected participant into a confirmed one.
What the program is carrying
- A Dune-themed edition of Pitch Roast Live
- Live startup storytelling under comic pressure
- A founder, comedian, and investor format
- An evening performance at Caveat
The event belongs on the calendar because it gives a specific part of the technology and innovation economy a place to compare the work before the outcome is obvious. A stage can make the market look settled. A good room exposes what still has to be negotiated: the customer that has not moved, the architecture that has not held, the institution that has not granted permission, or the founder who still needs the right person to understand what is being built.
That distinction matters here. The organizer controls the program, attendance, venue access, and final roster. DevCuration is preserving the public facts without treating an application, waitlist request, invitation, or registration as guaranteed admission.
Who should have it on the radar
This event is relevant to the founders, investors, operators, researchers, and institutional leaders working closest to startups. The exact mix depends on the organizer’s final approvals and program updates. Anyone considering the event should review the official page before making travel or access plans.
