Building Agents with Vercel & Jellyfish is designed to move the agent conversation from architecture slides into a room where engineers have to build something. The October 22 event at Pillar VC combines a live walkthrough, audience questions, a hands-on build period, and a rapid show-and-tell before the evening returns to food and conversation.
Vercel and Jellyfish will introduce Eve, an agent framework the organizers describe as an attempt to bring a more familiar application-development model to agent systems. The technical walkthrough covers tool use, memory, orchestration, and deployment. Attendees then work individually, in pairs, or in groups before volunteers present what they made in three-minute demonstrations.
Agent development is full of demonstrations that work once and operating systems that have to work repeatedly. A production agent needs permissions, state, evaluation, recovery, observability, and a clear boundary around what it can do. Those concerns become easier to understand when the room moves from watching a demo to making choices inside a build.
The evening also places two different perspectives beside one another. Vercel is working on the application and deployment layer. Jellyfish lives closer to engineering management and delivery intelligence. The useful conversation sits between them: what building agents changes inside the software lifecycle, and what engineering leaders need to see when the system begins acting on its own.
The event is relevant to software engineers, AI builders, engineering leaders, technical founders, and product teams moving agent experiments toward production. Registration requires host approval.
