Moxie Raises $25M in Series C Funding to Expand Aesthetic Medicine Operating System
Capital moves every week. Conviction moves less often. Moxie just delivered the latter. This week the Brooklyn based platform secured $25M in Series C funding led by Viewpoint Ventures, with SignalFire, Lachy Groom, and Haystack stepping back into the circle. That pushes total funding to $51M. Translation for the medspa world. The operating system built specifically for aesthetic medicine just got more fuel, and the timing could not be better.
Kamau Massey, CEO of Moxie, is building something that sits right in the intersection of medicine, business discipline, and technology. The aesthetic market in the United States is now estimated around $18B, with medspa locations exploding from fewer than 5,000 in 2010 to more than 15,000 today. A lot of growth. A lot of noise. And a lot of practices juggling 5 different systems while trying to focus on patient care. Moxie saw that chaos and built the calm in the middle of it.
The platform functions as a clinical grade operating system for aesthetic practices. EMR, scheduling, charting, checkout, patient communication, payroll, marketing automation, financial reporting, and AI powered inventory tracking all living under one roof. Toss in compliance alerts, Good Faith Exam workflows, and margin intelligence and suddenly the back office starts behaving like it went to business school. One system replacing 5 disconnected tools. The kind of consolidation operators quietly pray for.
The numbers coming out of the Moxie ecosystem are not subtle. More than 700 aesthetic practices across the country are running on the platform. Practices supported by Moxie grow 60% faster than the industry average. They unlock 10% higher margins and reclaim more than 25 hours a week that used to disappear into administrative fog. Retention sits at 97% and over 20% of new practices join because another owner recommended it. When referrals start doing the marketing for you, that usually means the product is doing the talking.
There is also some serious economic muscle behind the scenes. Moxie practices save over $5K per month on products and supplies through preferred pricing with pharmaceutical and device manufacturers. In 2025 alone, practices on the platform saved more than $1M on injectables and devices. Moxie has quietly become a top 5 strategic partner to Allergan, Revance, and Galderma. In aesthetics, relationships like that are the difference between running a clinic and running a business.
The new capital is headed straight into expanding the Scale Suite, sharpening tools like Maia AI, recruiting support, Practice 360 assessments, and deeper margin intelligence for multi provider practices. It is infrastructure for independent operators who want the power of a large group without giving up control of their brand or their patient relationships.
