Dapta Announces $6M Seed for Bilingual AI Sales Agents

A conversation that starts in Spanish still has to end in the right calendar. Dapta builds AI sales agents around that practical handoff, helping small businesses answer inquiries, qualify prospects and arrange appointments while their staff handles the work customers came for.

The company announced $6M in Seed funding on October 13, 2026. Chingona Ventures led the financing, joined by Crew Capital, Broom Ventures, Cometa VC and returning investors 500 Global and Fen Ventures. Founder and CEO Nicolás Rojas is expanding a business serving the U.S. and Latin America, with Scottsdale, Arizona listed as its headquarters on the company's LinkedIn profile.

Dapta says the proceeds will support expansion, product development, customer acquisition and team growth. Its opportunity sits inside the everyday economics of a small sales operation: an owner can pay to attract an inquiry and still lose it while the person who could answer is occupied elsewhere. Bilingual software has to carry that inquiry far enough for the business to act on it.

The Customer Buys a Usable Handoff

Dapta's voice and text platform connects phone calls, messages, qualification, appointment booking and CRM updates. The company describes English and Spanish support, configurable workflows and human handoff when a conversation needs a person. That creates a fairly concrete purchasing proposition for businesses whose sales work begins with a call or message rather than a long procurement process.

The distinctions between those steps matter. Answering a call produces contact; qualification determines whether staff should spend time on it; booking creates a commitment that must fit the calendar. A system can sound fluent and still leave employees with incomplete information or an appointment they cannot honor. For an operator, the value resides in how those steps fit the actual business, including the point at which someone takes responsibility for the customer.

Dapta's Aether Mechanical case study describes an HVAC team using automated first contact to capture after-hours inquiries, organize information and route qualified leads. Staff can concentrate on dispatching, diagnostics and follow-up. This is a company-published account, but it helps make the intended workflow legible: the software prepares work for people who already have another job to do.

The same design question travels into other service businesses. A law firm's consultation, an insurer's inquiry and a home-services appointment each require different qualification rules and escalation decisions. Dapta names these sectors among its areas of strength, giving its product team a collection of specific operating routines to support as adoption expands.

What the Seed Announcement Establishes

The October release establishes the announced amount, round label and investor group. It also reports more than 200K users and says revenue doubled during the preceding 6 months, with annual revenue expected to exceed $4M. Those figures come from Dapta, and the revenue threshold is forward-looking in the release's body. A registered user count provides a different view of adoption from the number of paying businesses that stay with the product.

The financing history needs equally careful accounting. Current and historical sources use different amounts for Dapta's earlier pre-seed financing, and a Chingona retrospective already included Dapta in its 2025 portfolio. The October announcement can be reported on its own terms without presenting the $6M as a second, additional sum or inventing a lifetime total. A definitive closing date and valuation were not established by the reviewed evidence.

Leadership is clearer in the current product story. Nicolás Rojas is verified as founder and CEO by Dapta's own event materials and Fen Ventures' portfolio profile. Chingona's portfolio retrospective also identifies Felipe Gomez as a cofounder. That relationship is relevant to the company's history; an older company webinar's CRO designation alone would be insufficient to establish a current executive title.

Chingona's published investment thesis emphasizes founders serving growth markets that conventional networks may overlook. Dapta's bilingual service-business focus fits that stated orientation. The connection is an observable alignment between product and investor thesis, rather than evidence of private underwriting assumptions or undisclosed performance targets.

Distribution Has Become an Internal Capability

Dapta's expansion plan includes a consequential earlier purchase. In an August company account, Dapta said it acquired paid-media agency Beezion in late May 2026, bringing a growth team inside the organization. The acquisition price was not disclosed, and the company's reported growth following the purchase should be read as its own account of the integration.

Owning that capability changes where campaign decisions are made. An internal team can work closer to the agents, onboarding process and customer feedback that follow a campaign. It also means Dapta carries the people and operating responsibilities of growth within its own business. The acquisition and Seed announcement together describe a company investing in both the software it sells and the means of finding customers for it.

That relationship has particular relevance in service markets. An advertisement may produce inquiries at times when a small team has limited capacity to respond. Dapta's product is designed to absorb first-contact work, so the growth operation and product operation encounter adjacent parts of the same customer journey. Their coordination becomes commercially useful when information collected by the agent gives staff a clear next action.

The U.S. and Latin American footprint adds another practical dimension. Language support can make the first conversation accessible, while qualification, CRM conventions and booking requirements still need to fit the individual business. Expansion therefore gives Dapta more environments in which to develop and refine the routines surrounding its agents, alongside the work of acquiring customers.

Implementation Is Part of the Product Economics

Dapta's pricing page lists a $99 monthly Pro plan, a $499 Scale Up tier and a $1,499 Prime tier. Plans combine credits, product access and different service levels, with assisted onboarding and additional implementation support in higher tiers. That packaging acknowledges that introducing an agent into a sales process involves more than opening an account.

The person configuring the system needs to establish what the business offers, which inquiries qualify, when appointments are available and where a human should intervene. Those choices shape the customer's experience and the work left for employees. Service support can help translate the product's capabilities into a routine an owner can rely on, while also creating an ongoing cost for the software provider.

For operators comparing AI sales tools, the useful comparison runs through their own workflow: channel coverage, language, calendar accuracy, CRM updates and the quality of information reaching staff. Dapta's documentation describes those capabilities, but each business still has its own definition of a worthwhile inquiry and a successful handoff. That specificity makes implementation experience part of the competitive conversation.

The new financing supports a company bringing more of that experience under its own roof, from acquisition campaigns to product development and team growth. As Dapta expands, the connection between a bilingual conversation, a correctly qualified prospect and an appointment a person can fulfill will keep giving its teams concrete work to improve.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Dapta connect AI conversations to a small business sales process?

Dapta describes voice and text agents that answer inquiries, qualify leads, book appointments and update connected CRM systems. English and Spanish support and human handoff are intended to help staff act on the conversations.

What will the $6M Seed funding support?

Dapta says the funding will support expansion in the U.S. and Latin America, product development, customer acquisition and team growth. Chingona Ventures led the announced financing, with Crew Capital, Broom Ventures, Cometa VC, 500 Global and Fen Ventures participating.

Why is the Beezion acquisition relevant to Dapta’s expansion?

Dapta says its late-May 2026 purchase of paid-media agency Beezion brought a growth team in-house. That places campaign development closer to the product and onboarding work that follow customer acquisition.

How should readers interpret Dapta’s user and revenue figures?
